Dacotah Performance Horses became involved with the Curly horse breed three years ago. The Curly Horse is a very versatile animal, come in a broad range of sizes, but always having the same group of traits in regards to temperament and structure. They come in every colour imaginable. Curly Horses have wonderful dispositions for all disciplines. With their smooth even gaits, strong short backs, and solid build they excel in the Sport horse world as well as western horse competition. They are a truly versatile breed. Rocky is a 2009 Straight Division Curly stud out of *WCC Rose and by *Angel's Spirit. He comes from Prairie Ponderosa in Estevan Saskatchewan. With his gentle personality, beautiful movement, and rock star bloodlines, Rocky should do some incredible things for our breeding program.

Buck Mt's Darky aka "Honey"
Honey is a 1993 Curly Mare. She is by *Toiya Soldier (grandson of Ruby Red King) and out of Baba a Morgan/Trakehner mare. Honey traces back directly to the Damale line and Nevada Red. This little mare has offspring around the globe, and for good reason. She consistently throws well put together producers, and is an absolute joy to be around.

Ruby
Ruby is a 2005 Curly mare. Rudy is by *BNC Andee (*Gringos Copper D and *BNC Cindy) and out of *Cypress Brandy by *Cypress Nicker. Ruby is simply gorgeous. Conformation is impeccable, personality is impossible to resist, and movement is hard to ignore. She is bred to Prairie Pharoh for a 2012 foal.

Laddie
Laddie is a 2009 Curly/Hanoverian/QH gelding. Laddie is by Elko Nevada and out of Lady a Hanoverian/Quarter Horse mare. Laddie possesses all of the traits that make a curly so wonderful. He has a lovable personality, learns everything quickly, and moves with incredible ease and grace.

Dacotah Storm Warning aka "Twister"
Twister is a 2010 colt. Twister is by Elko Nevada and out of Buck Mt's Darky. This colt is HUGE. 15.1HH as a yearling and growing. Big cannon bones, solid bone all around, gorgeous movement, and the sweetest most lovable personality. It is impossible to walk by Twister without giving him a scratch behind the ears.
